Quadrat Collection

Exclusive collection for the North Carolina Museum of Art.

The QUADRAT collection draws inspiration from Josef Albers' "Homage to the Square," translating his color studies into a captivating exploration of how color and transparency interact to form dimension and harmony. In this collection, the RLV clocks are meticulously crafted from birch plywood and adorned with hand-painted acrylic designs, featuring a distinctive edge wrapped in red oak wood veneer. Each piece is meticulously finished with clear polyurethane, creating not just timepieces but harmonious expressions of artistry that seamlessly blend form and function.

“Melting Down Old Jewelry” Video

Collaboration Video with Safiya Nygaard

I had the opportunity to collaborate on a very fascinating video with Safiya Nygaard along with Sarah Tector at the NCSU craft center. We spent a Sunday melting Sterling silver and making jewelry. Safiya had a blast with the torch and loves playing with 🔥 ! She transformed a beautiful free form casting into beautiful jewelry. Check out the video in her YouTube channel! It is fun, and most of all you learn a lot from it!

Paul Friedrich’s

ONION HEAD MONSTER Pendant

Upon discovering Paul Friedrich's vibrant cartoons, especially the Onion Head Monster, inspiration struck. Collaborating with Paul, we brought the character to life as a pendant. Cast in oxidized Sterling silver and adorned with resin, the pendant captures the essence of Paul's beloved creation in a wearable and colorful form.
