“These beautiful Miró summery earrings we customized for me by my talented friend Suijin Li. She showed me her wonderful design last year and I instantly knew I wanted a pair: the artist Miró is close to my heart as his mother and wife were from my home island Mallorca and his studio-museum is close to where I grew up. These earrings are inspired in his constellation series, which the artist did in times of WWII as an escape from the war (part of the series was painted in Mallorca too). In general, the eye is so symbolic in jewelry, but here it's even more meaningful because Miró's name means to see in Spanish (past tense)”
